From the Butterfly Guard as your opponent sits up grab their belt with the hand on the side they get the underhook and use your hand on the other side to block the biceps. When your opponent tries to sweep you post your hand on the mat and lift your leg to kill their hips. Switch your hips as you drop down, putting your knee between your opponents legs. If your opponent puts you in the reverse half guard look to mount your opponent. First, on the side you have a belt grip pinch your elbow to connect it to your opponents elbow and pull their other arm up. Then switch your head to the other side and switch your hips so your knee is connected to their hips. Release your leg from the reverse half guard and pull your opponents arm up so you can bring your knee’s to their armpits and establish mount.
