From Spider Guard break one of your opponents grips and transition to De La Riva. Leg go of your opponents near sleeve and use your hand to control your opponents leg by grabbing either the pants or the back of the ankle. Use your foot on the hip to push your opponent away. Use your foot on the hip to raise your hips and bring the De La Riva hook deeper, using your shin to hook around the hips. Sweep your opponent by pulling on the sleeve as you turn back and bring your knee in. Once you come on top keep the grip on your opponents pants and grab around the head. Switch your grip to the bottom pants leg, switch your hips and circle your leg free. Once your leg is free walk to the hips until your bottom knee touches the hips then use your hand to block the hip and switch your hips to establish side control.
