As you begin to attack the Armbar your opponent defends by creating the Rear Naked Choke grip, making it difficult to swim your arm underneath his bottom arm and finish the submission. Instead swim your arm inside the top arm and shift your hips to the other side so you can attack the free arm. Keep your hand in the collar incase your opponent tries to switch back. Once you’ve pinched your knee’s together release the hand that was inside your opponents collar and finish by either posting your hand on the mat and going belly down or by throwing your leg over the head and finishing with the traditional armbar
