When your opponent is in your closed guard, break their posture by bringing your knees toward your chest and hold their head. Cup your opponents elbow and step on the same side hip. Squeeze your knee to prevent your opponent from moving forward or backward. Climb your other leg as high as possible. Climb the leg that was on your opponents hip over their shoulder. Your opponents arm automatically gets pushed to the side. Your opponent will react by holding their bicep. Isolate the arm you plan to armbar by holding your own thigh. As soon as you step your leg over, your opponent will cup your thigh. Lock your feet and squeeze your knees. Underhook your opponent’s leg. Off balance your opponent to the left by bringing your knees to the ground and pulling the underhooked leg toward you. Let go of your opponents leg, push the elbow, and finish with a straight armbar.
